Amazing dinner after hitting the spa and exploring the grounds here. The set courses are delicious and priced well for the artful food. They also had excellent wine pairing suggestions. Pictures do not do the amazing presentation much justice.

This is a divine restaurant. I enjoyed lunch on their outdoor patio and chose the chef's menu of salade caprese, the flaked cod bake, an almond-toffee mousse, and white wine. Service was excellent, just the right mix of formal and friendly. The environment, looking out to the garden and listening to the birds, was so relaxing, and the meal was remarkably well-priced. I'm just one customer, but it's very hard to see how anyone could find things to complain about.

We enjoyed our dinner here, everything was plated beautifully. My husband's pork and potato dish was extremely over salted. The burrata salad was delish and my pasta was very good.

By complete chance, I ended up staying at Quinta das Lágrimas hotel and, just as coincidentally, dined at Arcadas restaurant. But the experience I had was anything but ordinary—it was truly unforgettable. The historic atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant are simply magical—there’s no need to describe them, you just have to be there to feel it. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. One waiter was responsible for the table setting, another for the drinks, and another for the presentation of the food. And when I say "responsible," I mean each of them explained every detail with perfect English and remarkable attentiveness. Chef Vítor Dias deserves a standing ovation. I started with an egg dish that was, without exaggeration, the best egg I’ve ever had. It wasn’t just about flavor or ingredients—it was the way the heat was handled, the texture, the transitions... absolutely masterful. Then came the codfish. The addition of codfish kidney to the cream was nothing short of genius. For dessert, I had a banana purée that kept surprising me—one bite felt like cocoa, another like cake, and suddenly there was ice cream. This man is a magician. Tonight, I’ll go to sleep a very happy person. And honestly, I’ll try not to eat anything else for as long as I can—just to hold onto the taste a little longer.

Excellent service experience in a very pretty, old hotel. Mains and desserts were okay, nothing particularly incredible but not bad. Lots of parking was a plus.

Arcadas was amazing! A bit tricky to find but well worth the effort. Food and service was worthy of their Michelin rating. Just outstanding presentation, fresh quality and combination of flavors. The chef is a true artist. We loved it so much, we returned the following night. Anna, Luis, and Vanda were attentive and professional. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience!
